MSD offers a series of unique adult education events during the school year. While the specific topics change yearly, Parent Education events always provide the opportunity to learn more about child development, best practices when it comes to teaching and parenting, more about the hallmarks of the different MSD programs, and how MSD alumni continue to succeed and excel. There are morning coffees with the Head of School as well as evening presentations about curriculum. All Parent Education events are dynamic, engaging, and leave you wanting to come to MSD every day with your child.

Fri, Jan. 30, 8:30-10am, Science Tower: "Supporting Social & Emotional Development for 4th-8th (UE-MS) Grade Students"
Come to this Catch the Buzz event and enjoy a cup of warm coffee, along with a great discussion, with Sara Knickerbocker, our Director of Learning Support, and Cindy Souser, Middle School Counselor. They will be chatting about child development, ways that MSD supports social and emotional growth during the school day, and also have plenty of time for questions and answers.

Fri, Jan. 30, 8:30-10am, A&A Commons: "Primary 101 - Transistioning from Toddler to Primary"
In response to several families seeking more information about our Primary program and the upcoming transition for their Toddler student, we have created a special Parent Education Event for you, our current Toddler parents, to find out more about the Primary and All Day Primary Programs at MSD! Join us to hear from a Primary teacher about the program hallmarks and experiences, curriculum, child development, and ask any questions you might have about the upcoming transition for your child. In the meantime, be sure to check out the Primary Program on our website for more info, and to view pictures of the program in action.

Please RSVP to Ashley Randle at arandle@msd-co.org and let us know if you will be attending either of the Catch the Buzz Coffee Parent Ed events on January 30 at 830am. Don't forget, Parent Ed Work Bond is awarded for attending.
