On Saturday, February 8, diversity speaker and trainer, Rosetta Lee, will lead a day-long workshop for adults. Topics will include “Courageous Conversations,” “Parenting with Identity in Mind,” “Talking to Youth About Heated Topics,” and “Beyond the Why & How: Practical Steps Towards Inclusive Classrooms.”
SCHEDULE
8:30-10:00am: Safe to Brave: Courageous Conversations
10:00-10:15am: BREAK
10:15-11:30am: Parenting with Identity in Mind
11:30am-12:15pm: LUNCH (lunch provided for an additional fee at checkout)
12:15-1:45: Talking to Youth About Heated Topics
1:45-2:00 pm: BREAK
2:00-4:00pm: Beyond the Why & How: Practical Steps Towards Inclusive Classrooms
BIO
Rosetta Lee is a diversity speaker and trainer on a variety of topics, including cross cultural communication, identity development, implicit and unconscious bias, gender and sexuality diversity, facilitation skills, and bullying in schools. She has worked with over 200 K-12 public and independent schools throughout the country, as well as many colleges and universities. Rosetta has also served for several years on the faculty of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Diversity Leadership Institute, as well as the NAIS diversity think-tank cadre, Call to Action. We are so excited to welcome her to the MSD campus!
