A thriving community for the whole family

A thoughtful, inclusive community of engaged families is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children. Our families connect with our community and school on a deeper level, building relationships and putting down roots where our kids are growing and learning. We strive to be a place where everyone feels welcome, and it shows: year after year, our families rank “a sense of belonging” very highly in both parent and student surveys.

At MSD, we deeply value parent involvement and gifts – of all kinds. Our families give their time, talent and treasure to support our kids and each other, coming together to make a difference for our school and the world beyond our campus.

How do parents contribute? They give their time – in a typical year, 250 parent volunteers log nearly ten thousand hours of volunteer service to MSD. They give their talent, whether that be sharing in a classroom or volunteering at events. And they give their treasure – supporting MSD’s Annual Fund each year.
