PARENT EDUCATION
Parent Programs
MSD offers unique, thoughtfully designed, informative, adult events during the school year that we refer to as our “Parent Programs.” These events provide the opportunity to learn more about child development, share best practices when it comes to teaching and parenting, give you a peek inside the classrooms, and allow you to experience the hallmarks of a MSD education.
There are many opportunities to suit even the busiest of parent schedules: morning coffees, evening presentations, weekend workshops, Community Gatherings with students, and much more! All of these events are dynamic experiences that get you even more engaged in your child’s education. We look forward to seeing you on campus!

MSD Community Podcast
Podcasts are an easy way for people to get information fast, when they want it, and how they want it. Our parents have busy lives, so offering information that’s important that they can access while making dinner, working out driving to work or doing household chores has been a big hit. Our “MSD Community Podcast Series—Montessori Parenting Information On-the-Go” is a compiled series of podcasts at each grade level that are snapshots of what parents want to learn more about, keeping them up-to-date on the latest Montessori strategies and tactics for raising children from Toddler – Middle School. These podcasts are updated on an ongoing basis.
