All the information you need to help plan your budget

At MSD, we strive to make tuition levels as accessible and affordable as possible to sustain our commitment to socio-economic diversity in our community.

We offer several payment plan options, including monthly, semi-annual, and annual. Caregivers are obligated for the full year’s tuition regardless of the type of payment schedule selected. Tuition insurance is also available. A non-refundable deposit is required, upon acceptance, to hold the student’s space at MSD.

Enrollment to MSD

MSD uses SchoolAdmin’s Enrollment Management Platform to process all enrollment contracts and to collect tuition and fees for the school. At enrollment time, an email will be sent to caregivers to complete the electronic contract.

MSD Contracts

Caregivers will be sent electronic contracts, and they will have the option to be invoiced or have their payments automatically deducted (ACH) from their checking or savings account. Due to Colorado law, SchoolAdmin does not offer credit card payments. If you have trouble with your account, please reach out to the business office or see the Parent Portal Help Center on the SchoolAdmin website.

Tuition Insurance

Tuition Insurance is available at an additional charge of 2.1% of the cost of tuition. Families choosing the monthly payment plan are required by the insurance provider to purchase the Tuition Refund Insurance. Tuition insurance is optional for families who choose a one or two payment plan. Click to view the Tuition Refund Brochure.

Tuition Assistance (Financial Aid)

We work to make MSD accessible to every child who wants to be a part of our community. See more about our Tuition Assistance (Financial Aid) below.

Tuition Assistance (Financial Aid)

MSD is a not-for-profit institution, and tuition and fees for each academic year are set by our governing Board of Trustees.

Families of students applying to Kindergarten through Middle School programs can apply for Tuition Assistance (Financial Aid). Toddler and Primary families are not eligible. Tuition Assistance is made on the basis of need, according to FAST guidelines (Financial Aid for Student Tuition), ISM (Independent School Management), and availability of MSD’s Board of Trustee designated funds.

The Tuition Assistance Request Form is available in November, and the deadline is in early January to be considered for the initial round of MSD Tuition Assistance notifications.

1. Begin Admission Process

If you are a Kindergarten through Middle School applicant and new to MSD, start with inquiring. Submit an Inquiry here, and we’ll be in touch.

2: Review Tuition Assistance Info

View our Tuition Assistance (Financial Aid) brochure here, containing information on deadlines, contracts, and next steps.

3: Complete the Tuition Assistance Request Form

The Tuition Assistance Request Form is available here, and is due by January 20, 2023, to be considered for the first round of Tuition Assistance (Financial Aid). Please return it to MSD’s Business Office. You can also mail, scan, or email it to us. We will continue to accept Tuition Assistance requests for rolling admissions when space is available.

4: Begin the Online Application Process through FAST

New families must complete the FAST process here by February 15, 2023, to be considered for the first round of admissions. Applications will continue to be accepted for rolling admissions.

The Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) program is a need-based financial analysis service that includes an income verification process. All information from FAST remains confidential and is reviewed by select administrators.

You must apply for a Tuition Assistance each year, using the online FAST application. After applying, you will upload tax documents to FAST for income verification purposes. If you have any questions about the application process, please call the FAST Call Center at 1-877-326-FAST(3278), open 24/7.
